Summerhill Venture Partners invests in private companies in the communications, digital media and information technology sectors, and builds relationships with exceptional entrepreneurs and investment teams.

We invest up to $15 million in total per company; a typical first investment from Summerhill Venture Partners can be as small as $500,000 for seed-stage companies and as large as $10M+ for later-stage companies. We look for innovative solutions that have the potential to become market leaders and generate significant returns, and that exhibit potential for substantial financial gain within four to six years through an IPO, merger or sale.

Specific investment areas of interest include:

Mobile applications, leveraging location information and user behavior
Products for the digital home
Enterprise and carrier security
Services for distributing and managing digital content such as video
Personal communications and collaboration
Other advanced communications applications
Networking infrastructure, particularly for wireless and broadband access
