Brian brings to Summerhill more than 11 years experience in the areas of venture capital investing and mergers & acquisitions.
Brian helps support Summerhill's investments in Scribble Technologies and Sonian and worked closely with Radian6 prior to its acquisition by Salesforce.com in 2011.
Before joining Summerhill in 2006 Brian was part of the M&A team at Bell Canada Enterprises where he was responsible for the evaluation and structuring of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic equity investments. While at Bell, Brian was involved in transactions aggregating more than $300 million in value.
Previously, Brian worked in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Group in New York where he was involved in a number of financial advisory and capital raising mandates.
Brian holds an MBA and an Honors Business Administration degree both from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Brian also holds a CFA designation.
